These Terms & Conditions explain the agreement between you (“the Client”) and Hero Hands (“we”, “us”, “our”) when you book or attend one of our training sessions. By booking with us and making payment, you agree to these terms.
1. Bookings & Payments
Your booking is confirmed once payment (or deposit, if agreed) has been received.
Payment is taken via invoice unless otherwise arranged.
Prices are subject to change, but the price confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Private sessions (Essentials & Comprehensive):
More than 14 days before session: full refund.
7–14 days before session: 50% refund.
Less than 7 days before session: non-refundable.
Group workshops (Community, Nursery, Church):
A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) may be required to secure your date.
Balance due 7 days before the session.
Group bookings are non-refundable once confirmed, but we will do our best to reschedule if notified at least 14 days in advance.
Our cancellation:
If we must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a new date or a full refund.
3. Rescheduling
Private clients may reschedule once free of charge with at least 7 days’ notice.
Further reschedules may incur an admin fee.
Group sessions may be rescheduled subject to trainer availability.
4. Course Content & Limitations
Hero Hands training is for educational purposes only.
It is not a substitute for professional medical advice or emergency services.
Sessions do not provide accredited first aid certification unless clearly stated.
5. Liability
While every effort is made to provide safe, accurate, and effective training, Hero Hands accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damages during or after the course, except where caused by proven negligence.
Clients are responsible for ensuring their training space is safe (e.g., clear floor space for CPR practice).
6. Group Workshops
Group workshops are designed for up to 12 parents unless otherwise agreed.
For larger groups, additional fees or sessions may apply.
The organiser is responsible for providing a suitable training space and ensuring attendance.
7. Health & Safety
Clients must inform us of any health conditions or access needs before the session.
Participation in practical activities (e.g., CPR practice) is voluntary and at the attendee’s own risk.
Children may be present at private home sessions, but supervision is the parent’s responsibility.
8. Intellectual Property
All training materials remain the property of Hero Hands.
Materials may not be copied, shared, or used commercially without written permission.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
